Our client was charged with an attempted murder in the City of Mississauga. The knife was found with his blood on it. There was a witness to the incident who saw our client trying to stab the victim with the knife and called the police.
We got him out on bail so he stayed out of jail. Then after long discussion and negotiations with the Crown office, and as per our client’s instructions, we were able to convince the Crown to drop the charge of attempted murder and instead enter a plea on the offence of assault with a weapon.
